LIDL AND CELEBRITIES aren’t two things you would immediately associate. Unless, of course, you’re aware of some of their previous collaborations with A-list names like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears.
Both Paris and Britney released hair care lines with the company, but this time Lidl are working on a clothing line with German-American supermodel Heidi Klum.
It’s the company’s first ever fashion collaboration, which aims to mirror Klum’s high end style at a more accessible price.
The collection will be launched across Lidl’s 150 stores in Ireland later this year. It’ll soon be followed by launches in the rest of Europe and the USA. Klum commented that
Lidl’s known for making quality products at affordable prices and I’m proud to partner with them on this fashion collaboration.
This seems to fit in well with the company’s recent efforts to attract new customers, like stocking their cheap versions of luxury products like lobster.
Until it’s release, we will remain eagerly curious as to what the clothes will be like. In the meantime, as always, Lidl will continue to intermittently stock their other “while stocks last” fashion ranges throughout the rest of the year.
